There are games, but no bread: When the state kills without accountability

“Bread and circuses”, that's how the apathy of the citizens of ancient Rome was treated. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the rulers have halved the proverb, leaving us only with “circuses”. And what kind of circuses - terrible, the most terrible ones.

We can watch lavish gladiatorial games and other public spectacles organized by the state at every turn. On the streets, "gladiators known to the police" are killing our children and our neighbors with cars, fathers are slaughtering hungry children, and we are concerned with flags and divisions into national pens served to us by the rulers. 

The divisions of seats within the ruling coalitions are also important to us. 

Both we and our children have become targets of half-educated and immature people, raised in a society where arrogance and recklessness are rewarded, and responsibility and honesty are ridiculed, I read this from Mirsad Hadžikadić and remembered that we have lost all interest in politics and concern for public interests, and have meekly handed everything over to wild and newly composed bureaucratic cliques.

There are games, but there is no bread. 

Where did we fail, who persistently sends us down the wrong path, at the end of which their thirty-seven-year-old father brutally kills three children with his own hand, and then commits suicide.

Rumors reach me that the unfortunate man, after his wife left him with three minor children due to poverty, announced this tragic act at the Social Welfare Center in Bihać! But to verify this information, you must contact the Social Welfare Service in Bihać. But, alas, no one there gives information except the director. And the director, his majesty, is not there!

And the answer to the question of where we went wrong lies precisely in that fact. In a rotten system, where the state directly "cooperates" in killing citizens by casually observing the game of poverty, life, and death. 

Without accountability from comfortable chairs and pleasantly warm offices, most often without adequate education, not doing their job, just forwarding the unfortunate to seek help at the furthest addresses in hell. 

In the meantime, we will in vain seek an explanation as to why it is possible for this society to install figures in positions for whom the lives of other people, even children, are unimportant. How to remain immune to all this and not put on a yellow vest. Although, given the situation in BiH, red vests should be worn, so that those who shape our destiny remember how much evil they have produced so far.

If we do not soon start building a community, a society on noble and human foundations, our future is bleak. 

We celebrate the disciplinary measure against Chief Prosecutor Dalida Burzić, while Dženan's hidden killer rubs his hands, because every new day is a new victory for him. 

We celebrate populism and play with our lives. It is time for a different future. This society of wrong values has promoted wrong people in order, given them importance and honored them with privileges. 

Let's take away their privileges, put responsibility in their hands. Let's stop them and we will stop this unnecessary decline.
