ILIDŽA Butmir gets a modern sports and entertainment park

(Patria) - The youngest residents of the Ilidža settlement of Butmir have been deprived of adequate play space for years, and the problem that has persisted since the end of the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina will finally be resolved.

According to the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, the settlement of Butmir will soon get an extremely well-equipped and modern sports and entertainment park for the youngest residents of this part of Ilidža.

- After successfully building a space in Donji Kotorac and Otes where our children can play safely, and then renovating the playground in Lužani and the sports court in Rakovic, and we are nearing the completion of works on the Sports and Recreation Center for Children and Youth near the Željeznica River, I can proudly say that we will also solve the problem of the sports court and children's playground in Butmir, which has lasted for more than two decades - said Nermin Muzur, Mayor of Ilidža Municipality.

Mayor Muzur emphasized that finding an adequate play space for children and a location for the sports and entertainment park was a priority and one of the main topics during the Public Debate on the Draft Budget of Ilidža Municipality for 2022.

- Residents of Butmir and their children will in the near future enjoy an extremely modern, and above all safe park, which will offer them facilities they have been denied until now - said Muzur.
