Velež players not injured, but shaken after traffic accident

(Patria) - Football Club Velež Mostar issued a statement on social media after a traffic accident involving a bus with players and coaching staff. 

Fortunately, no one was injured, although the accident shook the players. A car went under the bus after the driver lost control. There were children in the car.  

The team, known as Rođeni, was traveling to Srebrenik today, where they are scheduled to play a match against FK Tuzla City in the 20th round of the m:tel Premier League of BiH tomorrow. 

Velež coach Nedim Jusufbegović said that everyone was shaken by the accident. 

"We saw extremely ugly scenes during this collision and we hope that everything will be alright with the passengers from the vehicle, and that they will recover quickly and without major consequences. As for Velež, we are all healthy, no one is injured, but this situation has certainly left a mark on all of us. We are continuing our journey, hoping that everything will be alright, and our thoughts will certainly be with the people from the car who were injured. We wish them luck and a speedy recovery once again," said Jusufbegović.
