Several individuals identified and arrested for attacking four young men in Stolac

(Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) has confirmed that police apprehended several individuals today in connection with the attack on four young men from Stolac.

"Working on this case, members of the HNK Ministry of Internal Affairs identified and arrested several individuals today who are suspected of participating in the commission of criminal offenses.

Furthermore, the owners-users of four vehicles linked to this incident have been identified," the HNK Prosecutor's Office announced.

The HNK Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office continue to undertake investigative actions in this case, with the aim of identifying all perpetrators and establishing all facts and circumstances under which these criminal offenses were committed, and prosecuting the perpetrators.

We remind you that the attack occurred on the night between Sunday and Monday, around midnight, when a group of about ten individuals in three cars intercepted a car driven by M.A. (2004) from Poplašići, Stolac, who was with three other people.

The attackers hit the car owned by M.A. with baseball bats, and then beat the passengers from the vehicle with bats as well. Medical assistance was provided to them at the Cantonal Hospital "Dr. Safet Mujić" and the Emergency Medicine Center of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar.
