Person identified who sent bomb threats to Sarajevo schools

(Patria) - Police officers of the Federal Police Administration (FUP), Department for Combating Terrorism, acting on the request of the competent prosecutor's office, have identified the person who, through an e-mail user account, sent messages to schools about planted explosive devices in the past period.

Police officers are continuing further work with the competent prosecutor's office to document the aforementioned criminal offense, the FUP announced this evening.

The identity of the person has not been released, nor have other details of this case.

In the past period, numerous reports of planted explosive devices have been recorded in Sarajevo, in primary and secondary schools, as well as judicial institutions and shopping centers.

After anti-diversion checks were carried out, it was determined that the reports were false.
