WE ARE ALSO VICTIMS OF JANUARY 9TH We are children of Sarajevo, killed by snipers, treacherously and cowardly

(Patria) - From April 5, 1992, the city of Sarajevo was under siege by the Bosnian Serb army. Throughout the siege, the Bosnian Serb army and its executors carried out a systematic campaign of intentionally targeting civilians with snipers.

The sniper campaign terrorized the civilian population of Sarajevo, resulting in a significant number of civilian casualties, killed and wounded, including women, children, and the elderly.

Between May 5, 1992, and May 31, 1995, civilians in the Sarajevo area were systematically, illegally, and intentionally killed and wounded by snipers, including children:

Elma Jakupović, 2 years old, at Jukićeva Street no. 17, July 20, 1993
Elvedina Čolić, 4 years old, at Kobilja glava, August 8, 1993
Adnan Kasapović, 16 years old, at Dj. A. Kuna Street, October 24, 1994
Nermina Omerović, 11 years old, at Đire Daničića Street, November 8, 1994

They too are witnesses to the systematic and organized terror against citizens that began on January 9, 1992.

The sentences at the beginning of the text are part of the indictment against Radovan Karadžić and Ratko Mladić, but justice has not yet reached the criminals for the systematic terror of Sarajevo by snipers.
