Dodik also watched: 200 members of the RS and Serbian police held an exercise

A joint „anti-terrorist exercise“ of the police of Serbia and Republika Srpska was held today in Loznica, in the presence of the highest officials of Serbia and RS. 

The exercise was attended by the presidents of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and Serbia Tomislav Nikolić, as well as the Prime Minister of RS Željka Cvijanović. 

- The exercise of the two police forces demonstrates strength and training in the fight against terrorism and readiness to respond to all security challenges - the Ministry of Interior of Serbia announced.

The Minister of Interior of Serbia Nebojša Stefanović stated at the rehearsal of the joint anti-terrorist exercise of the police of Republika Srpska and Serbia in Loznica that RS and Serbia are ready to respond to all threats and security challenges.

- We want to send a message to everyone that neither Serbia nor Republika Srpska is a testing ground for any kind of terrorist actions, that we will not allow anyone to endanger the security of our citizens, and that we will be able to respond sharply to such challenges - Stefanović said.

He emphasized that the goal of the joint anti-terrorist exercise is to show that both police forces are ready to respond to any form of terrorism.

He also stated that the joint exercise of the police of Serbia and Srpska in no way threatens the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

About 200 members of the RS and Serbian police, 50 vehicles, five aircraft and five vessels took part in the exercise.

 

Due to the implementation of the exercise, the water level of the Drina River was raised by one meter.
