(Patria) - A two-day Peace Summit for Ukraine begins in Switzerland, attended by the Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović.
Incidentally, five days ago, at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Bećirović also attended a Summit in Berlin, which discussed security in Europe and the reconstruction of Ukraine.
The Summit, held at Ukraine's request, is attended by representatives of EU member states, G7, some G20 and BRICS member states, as well as high-ranking guests from three international organizations (UN, OSCE, and the Council of Europe) and representatives of the Vatican and the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
The goal of the two-day summit, attended by representatives from over 100 countries, is to find a platform for future high-level dialogue on ways to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine, in accordance with international law and the United Nations Charter.
