Houthis say they attacked a target in Tel Aviv with a hypersonic missile

(Patria) - Houthis from the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah carried out a missile attack on a target in Tel Aviv with a hypersonic ballistic missile, said the movement's military spokesman Yahya Saree, TASS reported last night.

"The missile forces of the Yemeni armed forces carried out a military operation using the hypersonic ballistic missile Palestine-2, which attacked a critical object of the Israeli enemy in the occupied settlement of Jaffa (Tel Aviv - TASS)," he told Al Masirah television channel, which is controlled by the Houthis.

According to Saree, the Houthis also carried out a drone attack on Ramon Airport near the city of Eilat in southern Israel.

Both attacks occurred after Israeli strikes on the Yemeni port of Hodeidah.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had previously announced that they intercepted a missile launched from Yemen.

There were no reports of casualties or damage.
