HUMANITARIAN CHARACTER Traditional Bayram Concert 'Bayram Comes, Courtyards Smell Nice'

(Patria) - The sixteenth traditional Bayram concert "Bayram Comes, Courtyards Smell Nice" will be held tonight in the "Mirza Delibašić" hall in Skenderija starting at 8:30 PM.

- Ramadan Bayram is a day of our happiness, our complete satisfaction because we spent the month in worship. Ramadan Bayram is a day of our spiritual rebirth, it is a day of return to universal values, a day of return home and homeland, a day of return for every fasting person to their home and family. On this day of joy, the MIZ Sarajevo traditionally organizes a Bayram concert - said the chief imam of MIZ Sarajevo, dr. Abdulgafar-ef. Velić, in his address to the media.

The chief imam emphasized that the proceeds from the tickets will be directed to help those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

The concert concludes the project "Visit Sarajevo - Feel the spirit of Ramadan", which MIZ Sarajevo realized in cooperation with the Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton (KS).

- We can say that this was an excellent project. We are bringing it to a close with a concert, and it is very important that the concert is of a humanitarian nature. We will continue to support such projects in the future. It was evident how much the city is alive, how many tourists there were, and we expect it to get better year after year. The Islamic community will be our partner - stated dr. Haris Fazlagić, president of the Tourist Board of KS.

Numerous guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world are participating in the program, including Mesut Kurtis, Eldin Huseinbegović, Hanka Paldum, Burhan Šaban, Aziz Alili, Naida Kraljić, and others.

- Thank you to the Islamic Community for the opportunity to be with my listeners, with my brothers and sisters in Sarajevo, in Bosnia. I think this is the first time for me to be outside my country during Bayram. I am happy that I will present my most famous ilahijas, but I am also happy that I will work with the best producers. We are ready and we will have a beautiful concert tomorrow - emphasized Mesut Kurtis, one of the world's best performers of spiritual music and a guest of the concert.

The orchestra of the best musicians from Bosnia and Herzegovina will be enriched with soloists on qanun and oud from Turkey.
