"Humanitarian" Zoran Žunić defrauded prominent businessmen in Prnjavor

Members of the Prnjavor Police Station arrested 33-year-old Zoran Žunić, suspected of defrauding several citizens and prominent businessmen from this area, reports the Patria News Agency. 

According to the police, in the last ten days, he falsely presented himself as an employee of the office of the Mayor of Prnjavor municipality and as someone collecting money for humanitarian purposes. The fake humanitarian took between 150 and 300 marks from gullible citizens, inviting them to come to the municipal building soon after the holidays to receive receipts for the money.

The unraveling of the fraud began at the municipal building, as the duped individuals arrived to collect confirmation of their paid donations.
