SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On the M-18 Sarajevo - Trnovo highway, in the locality of Krupačke stijene, a traffic accident occurred today around 1:00 PM involving a truck and a Golf II motor vehicle.
A vehicle of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, driven by Kenan Mešević, a soldier of the 3rd Infantry Battalion of the 4th Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of BiH, rank of soldier first class, from the "Kosova" barracks – Ustikolina, happened to be passing by.
Given that soldier Mešević, who was returning from a regular duty in Sarajevo, was the first to arrive at the scene of the accident, he selflessly rushed to help and provided first aid on the spot to three seriously injured individuals.
After providing first aid, Mešević transported the injured to the "Srbija" hospital in East Sarajevo using a military vehicle.
This example, like many others, shows that members of the BiH Armed Forces provide assistance to civilians in their most difficult moments at all times.
