Croatia Closes Borders, Refugees Still Entering

By last night until 10 PM, 11,003 refugees had entered Croatia, after which the Ministry of Interior closed border crossings with Serbia. The police stated that the border will remain closed "until further notice", reports the Patria News Agency.

The decision to close the borders was made after Slovenia began rejecting refugees arriving from Zagreb at the border.

Three train cars carrying refugees were separated and detained at the border. However, during the night, the wagons with about 150 refugees were eventually allowed through, the Slovenian police announced. They did not explain why they eventually allowed them to enter Slovenia, after having previously stated that they would return them to Croatia, writes Index.
