Croatia to lease Kupari for 99 years, investment worth 100 million euros

The Croatian government, at today's session, adopted the Decision on amendments to the Decision on determining the conditions and announcing a public call for the submission of binding offers for the realization of the Kupari tourist development project, reports the Patria News Agency.

The aforementioned public call assumes the realization of the project by establishing the right of building and the right of servitude on the land within the project scope, by concluding a lease agreement for the Grand Hotel and by granting a concession on the maritime domain for the purpose of constructing and using a beach, all for a period of 99 years, with the condition of constructing new accommodation and accompanying tourist-catering facilities categorized with 4 and 5 stars, it was announced from the Ministry of Tourism of Croatia.

The Kupari I tourist zone is defined as an existing zone for catering and tourist purposes outside settlements, at a location covering about 13 hectares, with a maximum capacity of 1500 beds. The investment is estimated at around 100 million euros.
