Croatia extradites Jovan Jošilo to BiH judiciary, suspected of organized crime and drug trafficking

(Patria) - Officials of the BiH Court Police, from their colleagues in Croatia, took over and extradited suspect Jovan Jošilo, born in 1983 in Sarajevo, residing in Banja Luka, a citizen of BiH.

The mentioned suspect is under investigation in Sky cases codenamed "Transporter" and "Storage".

He is charged with organized crime related to the unauthorized international trafficking of large quantities of narcotic drugs, and the prosecution and partner police, judicial, and security agencies had been searching for him for a long time as he was on the run.

The suspect was arrested last year in Croatia, in the Istria region, where he used forged personal documents, after which activities were initiated within the framework of international cooperation for his extradition to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After the members of the Court Police took over the suspect from their colleagues in Croatia today around 1 p.m., he was brought to the Complex of Judicial Institutions of BiH under high security measures, where a pre-trial detention measure is in effect, determined by the BiH Court's arrest warrant.

The suspect will be handed over to the acting prosecutor within the legal deadline, who will take further necessary steps in his prosecution.
