There is never enough struggle for truth and justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but this can become problematic if the intellectual elite and the general public are exclusively interested in the past, without having a strategy for the future and guidelines for action that could stand in the way of living secessionism and efforts to peacefully divide Bosnia through legal frameworks!
Bosniaks on this path of struggle for truth have never been motivated by hatred of the other and the different, but by freeing the victim from fear through the culture of remembrance, in the name of a better future.
And that is precisely where all the naivety lies of those who still believe in the sincere intentions of Christian Schmidt, the High Representative in BiH.
In fact, it is evident that the story of genocide is always intensified at the moment of making some crucial decisions, which are extremely important for the survival of the Bosnian being as a political body. Ultimately, for the survival of the state as well.
Therefore, the decision enabling the Potočari Memorial Center to develop and expand its activities should be viewed in the current moment, when the issue of state property and electoral law reform is being resolved.
This was excellently explained by state representative Zlatan Begić (DF), warning of dangerous tricks against Bosniaks.
"When it comes to the international community and the High Representative, I am terrified when I see Murphy in mosques and Schmidt in Srebrenica. They use this to whitewash apartheid. Every time I see Murphy visiting a mosque, I think to myself what trick Schmidt is planning to pull. I believe that these people are not even in their subconscious, and they are using this terrible tragedy that befell Bosniaks to somehow gain a moral basis for all perversions, starting with imposing electoral rules on election night, through suspending the Constitution, to intentions to tear apart state property."
Although this qualification may sound harsh to some, it would be worth examining it more deeply, and also recalling not-so-distant times.
Because, the High Representative in BiH, Christian Schmidt, after former High Representative Valentin Inzko imposed amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH, which prohibit the denial of genocide, will impose amendments to the Election Law of BiH.
The imposed amendments to the Election Law of BiH essentially satisfied the HDZ's demands regarding changes to the Election Law of BiH, and the final solution was based on variations of the demands of HDZ BiH and Dragan Čović.
This fulfilled the tripartite agenda of representatives of the international community, according to which "Serbs" get state property, "Croats" get the election law, and "Bosniaks" would have to be satisfied with the ban on genocide denial.
Given that they are unable to ensure the implementation of Inzko's law and that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has not filed a single indictment for genocide denial, they have now come up with the idea, to deceive the naive eyes of Bosniaks, to additionally support the Institute and Memorial Center in Potočari!?
Because they have nothing else to offer Bosniaks!
And the time for negotiations on the continuation of amendments to the electoral legislation is approaching, and we are also counting down when it comes to state property.
And while all eyes are on the OHR, the public is wondering whether Schmidt will also finish off state property?
In favor of Dodik, of course, and under the justification that the Republika Srpska should be persuaded to be 'part of European integration'.
With his laws that are in force, Schmidt has strengthened the obligation to pass a law on state property in the Parliament of BiH, and any action contrary to this will be recognized as legally void.
That is why he had to go to Srebrenica again, unfortunately, to use the saddest story in the history of Bosniaks to cloud the eyes of those who clearly see the implementation of a plan that is disastrous for Bosniaks-Bosnians in a political sense. After genocide and physical destruction, they are also being prepared for political extinction.
It must never be forgotten that BiH was saved from aggression, under an arms embargo, by the courage of its citizens, who today must not remain silent about all the tricks of global diplomats who are increasingly taking steps towards the realization of non-papers written in European metropolises.
And there should be no doubt that Schmidt would have already resolved the issue of state property, if he were not fully aware that this would lead BiH into a new conflict. That is why, through the story of genocide, he will soften those who stand in the way of such a possible end to the agony called state property.
