Will Sarajevo Canton Get a Budget for 2020 on Thursday

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The 17th working session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly will be held on Thursday, 12/26/2019, starting at 10:00 AM, and the Draft Budget of the Sarajevo Canton for 2020, as well as the Draft Law on the Execution of the KS Budget for 2020, are on the agenda. This session comes after the announced reconstruction of the KS Government, and the new majority will consist of SDA, SBB, and DF, who have 19 votes. 18 signatures have been submitted for the dismissal of the KS Government, and a session of the KS Assembly is requested to vote on no confidence in the current KS Government headed by Prime Minister Edin Forto. Bakir Izetbegović, the president of SDA, previously stated that SDA representatives will support the Budget for 2020 and then proceed with the dismissal of the Government.

Representatives will also consider the Draft Amendments to the Budget of Sarajevo Canton for 2019 - urgent procedure, as well as the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the Execution of the Budget of Sarajevo Canton for 2019 - urgent procedure.

On the agenda is also the Draft Decision on Granting Consent to the Decision on Temporary Financing of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Fund for the period 01/01/2020 to 03/31/2020;

Representatives will also discuss the Report on the Business Operations of the Cantonal Public Enterprise "Veterinary Station" Ltd. Sarajevo for 2018.
