Will the Global Fiscal Framework be adopted today, due to which the adoption of the Budget is blocked

(Patria) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija will chair the session of the Fiscal Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo today.

Documents of the Global Framework of Fiscal Balance and Policies in BiH for the period 2022 - 2024 are expected to be considered on the agenda, without which the Budget for 2022 cannot be adopted.

The Fiscal Council did not reach an agreement on the document Global Framework of Fiscal Balance and Policies in BiH for the period 2022 - 2024 at earlier sessions, and it was not adopted, thus blocking the adoption of the Budget.

This is also significant in the context of the story about holding the Elections in October, because the Central Election Commission will not be able to call the General Elections without the Budget, as it is legally determined that the organization of elections is carried out exclusively from the Budget.
