Emergency Services Maglaj: Responded to a Call from America and Saved an Elderly Woman!

Emergency service teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina are working diligently, and a story from Maglaj is proof that they work professionally and responsibly, writes the Patria News Agency. 

As reported by maglajinfo.com, a letter of thanks to the staff of the Emergency Medical Service in Maglaj arrived from distant America.

Namely, Rada Orec stated in the letter that she had sent an appeal for help for her mother from the USA.

-       I want to thank the staff of the Emergency Service in Maglaj for their quick and very caring intervention on January 2, 2015. I called from America and requested emergency help for my mother, who is 85 years old and lives alone in Jablanica. Everyone was so kind and very quickly went to her and brought her to the Health Center premises. She received the best possible help and they treated her like their own mother. Special thanks are due to nurse Snježana, and of course, I thank all the others who helped her that morning. I hope I will be able to see my mother alive a few more times. I am proud of my Maglaj and all the people who care for and help others more than themselves – Rada wrote in her letter.
