Hezbollah: In case of war, no place in Israel will be spared

(Patria) - The leader of Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, warned yesterday that no place in Israel will be spared their missiles if Israeli leaders carry out their threats to attack Lebanon.

- The opening of airports and Cypriot bases to the Israeli enemy to target Lebanon would mean that the Cypriot government is a participant in the war.

The (Israeli) enemy knows perfectly well that we are prepared for the worst. It knows that no place will be spared our missiles - Nasrallah warned in a televised speech.

The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that it had approved plans for an offensive on Lebanon due to intensifying cross-border clashes with Hezbollah in the context of the war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The Hezbollah leader said that in case of war, Israel should expect them from land, sea, and air.

In another part of the speech, he stated that the enemy is truly afraid that the resistance will penetrate Galilee in northern Israel, adding that this is a possibility in the context of a war that could be imposed on Lebanon.

He points out that his movement has used only a part of its arsenal since opening the front in southern Lebanon on October 8 last year to help Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Nasrallah added that Hezbollah has more than 100,000 men ready for combat.

Hezbollah is financed by Iran, Israel's sworn enemy. In more than eight months of violence between Hezbollah and the Israeli army in the border areas, at least 478 people have been killed in Lebanon, mostly Hezbollah fighters, and 93 civilians, according to AFP estimates.

On the Israeli side, at least 15 soldiers and 11 civilians have been killed, according to Israeli data.
