Hezbollah: Gaza will be an Israeli graveyard in case of a ground invasion

(Patria) - Palestinians will turn Gaza into a graveyard for Israeli troops if they launch a ground invasion of the
besieged territory, a senior official of the Lebanese movement Hezbollah said, Press TV reported.

"We have no option but victory, and the occupiers have no option but defeat," said Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem in a live speech on Saturday.

He said that Israel's crimes will not go unanswered. "Today, the enemies fear the capabilities of the axis of resistance," said the Hezbollah official.

Qasem welcomed the achievements of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas during the operation launched on October 7. It was "a nail in the coffin of Israel," he said.

Qassem condemned the Western bloc for supporting Israel, saying they are accomplices in the crimes. "The West's stance on the 'two-state solution' is only aimed at distracting the public," said the Hezbollah official.

Israel, Qasaem said, is carrying out systematic genocide against the Palestinian people by targeting civilians, including women, children, and the elderly.

He confirmed that Hezbollah has received many calls not to intervene in Hamas's ongoing war against Israel. However, he said: "We are now in the heart of the battle."

"To those who contact us, we say that they (the occupiers) must first stop the aggression, so that the conflict does not spread," he added.
