(Patria) - Hezbollah has halted attacks on Israeli forces and territory following the announcement of a ceasefire between the US and Iran, sources close to the group told Reuters.
The pro-Iranian group reportedly ceased fire in the early morning hours, after statements by US President Donald Trump about a reached agreement.
This comes at a time when the Israeli army issued new evacuation orders for civilians in southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah operates.
Recall, Israel stated overnight that the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran does not apply to Lebanon.
Sources indicate that Hezbollah will soon issue an official statement regarding its position on the truce, as well as on Benjamin Netanyahu's claim that Lebanon is not included in the agreement.
