AF BiH Helicopters Bring Neum Fire Under Control

(Patria) - Helicopters of the Armed Forces of BiH have been intensively working on extinguishing fires in endangered parts of the Neum municipality in recent days.

This morning, helicopter crews, in cooperation with representatives of the local authorities, surveyed the endangered area and concluded that the fires have been brought under control and that there is no further need for the engagement of the Armed Forces of BiH resources.

The Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH are proud of the performance of the AF BiH helicopters in this area, which, together with other entities, were involved in the action of extinguishing and suppressing fires
in this area.

The engagement of the Armed Forces of BiH resources significantly prevented the further spread of the fire, averted potential negative consequences, and eliminated the danger to the population and
property at the burned locations.

The Armed Forces, with their resources, remain on standby for all future engagements in case of need to assist the residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina wherever and whenever assistance is needed and requested.
