In accordance with procedures, through the Ministry of Security of BiH (Operational-Communication Centre 112, and at the request of the Federal Civil Protection Administration of BiH for air support from the Armed Forces of BiH, on August 13, an AF BiH MI-MTV1 helicopter was engaged from the Čapljina location, to extinguish the fire at the Plasa location, on the slopes of Čvrsnica mountain, reports the Patria News Agency.
The AF BiH helicopter was engaged from 18:50 to 20:30, when the activity was temporarily completed due to the end of daylight. This morning, August 14, from 06:15, the AF BiH helicopter was again engaged in extinguishing the fire at this location.
The AF BiH is on constant standby to be engaged, upon request from civil authorities and within available capacities, in providing assistance to the civilian population and authorities, it was announced from the Ministry of Defence of BiH.
