Based on the indicated need, a helicopter of the Armed Forces of BiH was engaged on Thursday to provide assistance to civil structures in extinguishing fires in the locality of the municipality of Drvar, reports the Patria agency.
The previous day, members of the BiH AF actively contributed to extinguishing fires in the municipalities of Gacko, Bileća, and Drvar.
Operating in the areas affected by the fire, the helicopters of the BiH AF completed 3.4 flight hours, dropping more than 32.5 tons of water (13 buckets).
The Armed Forces of BiH will continue to provide the necessary assistance in accordance with the requests of civil authorities and the prioritization of fire sites.
