Helez received US Military Attaché Brigadier Adams: It is easier to face numerous challenges together

(Patria) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zukan Helez received the Military Attaché of the United States of America to BiH, Brigadier Eric Adams, on an official visit on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

The interlocutors briefly analyzed the main aspects of bilateral military cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States of America in the outgoing year and mutually stated that the cooperation is proceeding excellently and should be further developed.

Minister Helez reiterated that the US is a key ally of Bosnia and Herzegovina on its
Euro-Atlantic path and expressed gratitude for all the support the US provides to our country.

He specifically thanked for the recent successful visit of the NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and Commander of the US European Command (USEUCOM) General Christopher Cavoli to Sarajevo.

Minister Helez and Brigadier Adams also touched upon the process of new general appointments in the Armed Forces of BiH, the issue of compiling the military budget for the next year, and the procurement process within the further modernization of the BiH AF.

The interlocutors stated that various political and
geostrategic challenges could occur in this part of the world in the coming year 2024 and expressed mutual readiness to overcome any challenges that may arise with joint work.
