Hebib: Palestine has been bleeding for 66 years, receiving only formal support

Avdo Hebib, president of the Association of Bosnian-Herzegovinian - Palestinian Friendship and former president of the Patriotic League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, addressed the gathered citizens of BiH today who expressed their dissatisfaction with the Israeli attack on Gaza through a peaceful march, reports the Patria News Agency.

Hebib emphasized that an aggression is happening in Gaza that BiH has already experienced.

- We know what aggression and an aggressor mean. Palestine has been bleeding for 66 years, and it is only given formal support. 70 UN resolutions have not been implemented. Palestinians are dying of hunger, thirst, and rockets in the sand. BiH has supported the freedom of Palestine from day one. We managed to free ourselves from the aggressor in a shorter period, and we hope the world will hear this voice – Hebib told the gathered citizens, numbering several hundred.

He noted that an unprecedented civilizational crime is happening against small nations, and that the warning to Israel not to kill children and civilians is just a deception. He said that a similar crime is happening in Myanmar and Sudan.

- The leaders of the Islamic world are providing passive support to the Palestinians. The great powers are doing the same. BiH always stands with Palestine and gives its support – says Hebib.

Gradimir Gojer also addressed the attendees, stating that fascism has not yet been defeated in the 21st century.

- We know best what fascism is, because we experienced Chetnik-Serb, and Israeli and Chetnik-Serb are connected – said Gojer.

The Association of the Palestinian Community in BiH reminded that the Israeli aggression and bombing of Gaza began on July 8, and that in 11 days of bombing and the latest ground aggression, more than 261 Palestinians were killed and nearly 2,216 were wounded. 2,559 attacks were carried out, and 645 facilities were destroyed.
