Haznadar files report: BiH Prosecutor's Office has been investigating Tegeltija for two years

A criminal complaint filed against the President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milan Tegeltija, has been gathering dust in the BiH Prosecutor's Office for two years.

The BiH news agency Patria has confirmed with the BiH Prosecutor's Office that this case is being processed, but the BiH Prosecutor's Office cannot comment.

Bosnian businessman Dževad Haznadar filed evidence with the BiH Prosecutor's Office in 2013, showing that the Banja Luka-based company H.I.G.A.T., owned by controversial businessman Milorad Mihajlović and one of SNSD's financiers, illegally appropriated real estate worth nearly three million KM from him, located near Laktaši, Banja Luka.

Haznadar claims that Milan Tegeltija, the president of the HJPC, who served as the president of the Basic Court in Banja Luka at the time, was directly involved in the illegal confiscation of his property.

Haznadar filed a series of evidence with the BiH Prosecutor's Office in 2013 regarding the illegal theft of his property, but apart from stating that the case is being processed, the BiH Prosecutor's Office has not provided any detailed information for two years, nor whether an indictment will even be filed in this case, writes Patria.

Instead of being sanctioned, Haznadar points out that Tegeltija was promoted last year from the president of the Basic Court in Banja Luka to the president of the HJPC.

Tegeltija's promotion, Haznadar says, was facilitated by, among others, the Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor of BiH, Arben Murtezić, who, prior to Tegeltija's appointment, remained silent about the criminal complaint against Tegeltija, which should have prevented Tegeltija from being appointed to this important position in BiH.

Haznadar subsequently expanded the criminal complaint for document forgery to include Murtezić. In addition to Tegeltija and Murtezić, the indictment also names the owner of the company H.I.G.A.T., Milorad Mihajlović, and his wife Slobodanka, Nebojša Pejović, a judge at the Basic Court in Banja Luka, Dragan Macanović, assistant director of the Republika Srpska Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs, as well as the then director of this institution, Tihomir Gligorić, writes NAP.
