Hartmann to thank former camp inmates in Bosnia today, after they tried to prevent her arrest

Journalist and former spokeswoman for the chief prosecutor of the Tribunal in The Hague Florence Hartmann will visit the Association of Camp Inmates in Bosnia today, after members of the Association tried to prevent Hartmann's arrest at the end of March this year in front of the Hague Tribunal, during the pronouncement of the verdict against the first president of Republika Srpska, Radovan Karadžić, for crimes and genocide during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia issued an arrest warrant for Florence Hartmann at the end of February 2015 in The Hague for contempt of court. She had been fined 7,000 euros, but did not pay the fine, so it was converted into a prison sentence.

Hartmann was arrested when she came to follow the pronouncement of the verdict against Karadžić. Former camp inmates from Bosnia, representatives of raped women and murdered children tried to prevent the arrest, but did not succeed.

As a sign of gratitude for the support, Hartmann will visit the Association of Camp Inmates in Bosnia today, Patria reports.
