Merima Ključo, a world-renowned accordionist from Bosnia and Herzegovina currently living in Los Angeles, was at Brussels Airport Zaventem this morning where she was scheduled to check in for her flight to Los Angeles, but fortunately avoided tragedy when two explosions occurred, killing 13 people and injuring dozens, writes the BH News Agency Patria.
The interior of the airport was destroyed, and all passengers were evacuated after the explosions.
On her FB profile, Ključo wrote that the explosion happened 200 meters from her and that she was minutes away from the tragedy.
Numerous friends asked her if she was okay, to which she replied that she was, but her legs were shaking.
