Hari Varešanović to receive 38 thousand euros for concert in Brčko

The program for the celebration of March 8, Brčko District Day, adopted by the Organizational Committee for the celebration, will include cultural and sports events from March 2 to 15. These events are adapted for all age groups of the population and are distributed throughout the city and villages, said the Mayor of Brčko District, Anto Domić. The implementation of all contents will cost the District budget 170,000 KM, writes the Patria News Agency.

This marks the 16th anniversary of Brčko District. On the key evening, March 8, a concert by Hari Varešanović will be held, open to all citizens of Brčko.

A protest was heard from Ibrahim Kamenjašević, an SDP MP in the Brčko District Assembly, regarding the excessive cost of the concert:

- For a seventh of that 38 thousand euros, we would play abroad, not in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
