Arrests for human smuggling

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) yesterday, in cooperation with the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH, in the area of Sarajevo arrested one person on suspicion of committing the criminal offense under Article 189 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, "Human Smuggling", and the criminal offense under Article 289 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, "Robbery".

The said person was brought to SIPA premises and is undergoing criminal processing, after which, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Criminal Procedure of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina with an appropriate report.
