Arrests in Sarajevo: Three individuals detained for abuse of office

Police in Sarajevo have arrested three individuals on suspicion of committing criminal offenses of abuse of office, giving and receiving gifts, and illegal intermediation, confirmed for Patria by the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo.

The arrested individuals are Alma Drina, Tarik Drina, and Arman Galičić.

- Alma and Tarik Drina are suspected of having, from the beginning of May until the day of their arrest, repeatedly demanded money from Arman Galičić, and in return promised him that Alma, as the responsible person in the credit union, would sign a business premises lease agreement with Arman Galičić. Thus, Alma and Tarik Drina obtained unlawful property gain for themselves in the amount exceeding 25,000 KM - Azra Bavčić, spokesperson for the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, told NAP.
