Arrests at three border crossings in BiH

Officers of the Brod Border Police Unit apprehended M. M. (1995), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Border checks revealed that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska had issued a warrant for him for the criminal offense of "abuse of a helpless person".

The individual was checked upon entering BiH at the Brod International Border Crossing and handed over to officers of the Derventa Police Station.

The day before, on 24.8.2017, upon entering BiH at the Rača ICP, M. H. (1988) was apprehended after it was determined that Interpol Bern had issued a warrant for him for the criminal offense of "armed robbery". Officers of the Bijeljina Border Police Unit handed over the citizen of the Republic of Serbia and Croatia to members of the Court Police of the BiH Court.

Officers of the Trebinje Border Police Unit, in cooperation with members of the Plužine Border Police Station of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro, prevented two Syrian citizens from illegally crossing the state border today. They were discovered in the border area in the Gacko region. In accordance with the Law on Foreigners, they will be processed for misdemeanors and handed over to members of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs for further proceedings.
