(Patria) - Palestinian Hamas is willing to reach an agreement to end the conflict in Gaza, guarantee Israel's withdrawal, and exchange prisoners, said Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Yesterday, Haniyeh assessed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is finding excuses to continue the war in the Gaza Strip, expand the conflict, and sabotage ceasefire efforts being carried out through mediators.
Referring to the truce negotiations taking place in Cairo, Haniyeh emphasized that Hamas remains willing to reach an agreement to end the attacks on Gaza, guarantee Israel's withdrawal, and exchange prisoners.
- Netanyahu has invented justifications for continuing the attacks on Gaza, expanding the conflict, and sabotaging ceasefire efforts - stated Haniyeh, adding that Hamas had shown a positive and flexible stance before the negotiations.
