(Patria) - Hamas has offered to release 70 kidnapped women and children in exchange for a five-day truce and its own prisoners.
Hamas footage shows fierce fighting on the ground, but the pressure of Israeli forces is evident in the militants' increasingly frequent demands for a truce.
- During a five-day truce, we can release 50 women and children who are hostages in Gaza, even up to 70. The problem is that they are in different locations and in the hands of different factions.
The truce should include a ceasefire and allow humanitarian aid to be delivered to the Gaza Strip - stated Hamas military wing spokesperson Abu Ubaida.
