Halid Bešlić ahead of concert in Brčko: It's a town that loves music

(Patria) - Brčko will be the music centre of the region next Tuesday, 5 March. Thousands of visitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as from Croatia and Serbia, will enjoy the spectacle of legendary Halid Bešlić at Trg mladih.

Halid Bešlić's concerts are more than concerts, and he easily fills the largest halls and stadiums across the region. Music and songs are simply his life. The spectacle on 5 March is held on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the Brčko District and is organised by the Government of the Brčko District, with free admission.

"Ja bez tebe ne mogu da živim", "Miljacka", "Prvi poljubac", "Lavanda", "U meni jesen je", "Zlatne strune", "Romanija", "Dvadesete" are just some of Bešlić's hits that the audience will sing along to on 5 March.

-I haven't been to Brčko in a long time. The audience can expect my best performance, the best songs and two hours of good music. I will give them a suitcase of my hits. I will sing with a full band with top-notch stage and production. Brčko is a town that loves music and knows what good music is. I had my first concerts at the Cultural Centre in Brčko. The repertoire will also include the song "Dvadesete", which has experienced a real expansion in the region in recent weeks, especially in Serbia. It is a nice pop song done by the guys from the band "Okus meda" from Bihać. After Brčko, I have no time to rest and on 9 March I will perform in Gossau (St. Gallen) in Switzerland, and the audience will be warmed up before me by Amar Jašarspahić Gile. After that, concerts follow in Varaždin (13 March) and Osijek (16 March) - says Halid Bešlić.

The Mayor of Brčko, Zijad Nišić, is happy that Halid Bešlić will sing at the 24th birthday of the Brčko District.

- Halid loves Brčko, Brčko loves Halid. It is no coincidence that he was our choice to sing in our city on Tuesday. Bešlić is beloved among all people, and when we announced that he would sing in Brčko, everyone was thrilled. Everyone in our city is counting down the days to the spectacle of the regional music star. All people of good will from our surroundings, as well as from neighbouring countries, are welcome – says Zijad Nišić, Mayor of Brčko.
