(Patria) - Former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley will drop out of her presidential campaign today, the Wall Street Journal reported.
This means that former President Donald Trump will officially secure the Republican nomination for the November election, where he will face Democrat Joe Biden.
Haley is expected to briefly address the public at 4 p.m. local time.

The decision came after Super Tuesday, when Trump won in 14 out of 15 states, including California and Texas, which carry many delegates. Haley only won in Vermont.
Haley will not express support for Trump today, the WSJ writes, but will encourage him to gain support from Republican and independent voters who voted for her.
Haley was Trump's last rival for the Republican nomination.
