Hacker attacks on servers of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, OSA and SIPA involved

(Patria) - The official website of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (parlament.ba) has been under a hacker attack for hours and is inaccessible. The website of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina is functioning normally.

Although the website of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina was also inaccessible a few days ago, today's attack is more serious, and the police agencies SIPA and OSA have been informed.

At the beginning of this month, OSA issued a warning to all institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina to conduct a security assessment of their information and communication systems and take necessary measures and procedures for preventive protection due to the large number of cyber incidents.

“We advise all individuals and organizations to conduct a security assessment of their information and communication systems and apply security measures as quickly as possible in order to proactively prevent any potential cyber attack attempts in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are in daily contact with domestic and international partners with the aim of protecting citizens and institutions from malicious influences and threats that have intensified recently. The Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is monitoring all attempts of illegal activities in cyberspace with the aim of identifying perpetrators and motives for carrying out cyber attacks,” stated OSA.
