In Sarajevo, shortly after 8 PM, a dense fog appeared that nearly brought traffic to a halt, reports the Patria news agency. Citizens of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina literally stood at intersections, and some even headed home on foot, as visibility was almost nonexistent.
Buildings are completely invisible, and getting from Dobrinja to Vojničko Polje is nearly impossible. As one Sarajevo resident who was standing at an intersection next to her car near the Health Center in Vojničko Polje told us on the spot, she has never experienced anything like this before.
- It's terrifying, you can't see anything. I need to get to Dobrinja, but I don't know how - says Emina F.
That the fog contained a lot of smog was felt by pedestrians who were literally colliding on the sidewalk. Meanwhile, flights at Sarajevo Airport have also been canceled, and planes that were supposed to land in Sarajevo mostly landed in Zagreb.
