SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the late evening hours, members of the Mountain Rescue Service station from Mostar conducted a rescue operation on Mount Prenj.
The operation was carried out at the demanding location of Poljica, below Kapljuč on Prenj.
Several nearby stations were put on standby given the challenging terrain and the possible long transport of the injured person.
In the end, an EUFOR helicopter had to be engaged for an emergency evacuation, and the injured person was successfully transported to the hospital for further medical treatment, the GSS Mostar announced.
The rescue operation ended at 23:33.
