GS: By rejecting the Hague verdicts, Čović followed Karadžić's path

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - By calling for the rejection of war crimes verdicts issued by the Hague International Court in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović sent a message from Mostar today that he is using the same political matrix that convicted war criminal Radovan Karadžić has used and continues to use, reacted the president of the Civic Alliance (GS), Nihad Čolpa, in a written statement to the media.

The Croatian National Assembly unanimously adopted a Declaration in Mostar today, which, through seven points, defines the guidelines for the actions of Croatian political representatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the rejection of the Hague court's verdicts against the political and military leadership of the Croatian Community of Herceg-Bosna, as well as insisting on a new restructuring of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Today's session of the Croatian National Assembly in Mostar, which is actually nothing more than Dragan Čović's new tool for political manipulation not only of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina but of all its citizens, completely resembles Karadžić's Assembly of the Serb People of BiH from 1991, which brought nothing good to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina," Čolpa said.

"I call on the International Community to react urgently to this dangerous phenomenon that is drawing citizens into nationalism and conflicts again, just like in the nineties. The absence of an adequate reaction to Milorad Dodik's previous threats of violence, and the potential new silence towards the anti-civilizational messages that Dragan Čović sent from Mostar today, would mean that the international community is on the same positions as the dangerous duo, and that all who love Bosnia and Herzegovina must seek new democratic ways to preserve both the country and themselves," the president of GS announced, reports NAP.
