(Patria) - The population of Greenland receives all necessary healthcare, which is free and available on the island, and for specialized treatments, patients go to Denmark.
Danish Minister of Defence Troels Lund Poulsen said that a special health initiative is not needed, reacting to the announcement by US President Donald Trump that he is sending a hospital ship to Greenland.
Trump claimed that he is sending the ship because of “numerous sick people who are not being treated there”, but Denmark claims this is an unnecessary intervention.
