Graz: Number of victims in school shooting rises to 11

(Patria) - Another person has died following today's shooting at a school in the Austrian city of Graz, bringing the death toll to 11, including the 21-year-old attacker.

A woman admitted to the hospital in Graz died from serious injuries, the Austrian news agency APA reported, citing the hospital.

In the first details that emerged from the secondary school, the father of a boy who was present said that the suspect deliberately shot students in the classroom.

The father told Puls24 television that his son threw himself on the floor and played dead. He added that his child witnessed the murder of three of his schoolmates. The boy escaped unharmed, along with his brother.

Police have not yet reported additional details about the victims or the precise location after the shooting.

Media previously reported that the attacker entered the school building with a pistol and a shotgun and fired at students in two classrooms.

One of them was allegedly a classroom he once sat in.
