Border police arrest three Afghans

Members of the Zvornik Border Police Unit prevented three Afghan nationals from illegally crossing the state border. The foreign nationals attempted to leave Bosnia and Herzegovina by evading border control at the Zvornik border crossing for local traffic, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.  

When they saw our officers, they began to flee towards the exit from BiH. Police officers of the Zvornik Border Police Unit managed to stop them in the immediate vicinity of the Mali Zvornik border crossing (Republic of Serbia). The foreign nationals did not possess identification documents and, in conversation with our officers, stated that they were from Afghanistan. They were handed over to the Service for Foreigners' Affairs of BiH for further processing, the Border Police of BiH announced.
