Barcelona Mayor Calls for Arms Embargo on Israel

BARCELONA, (Patria) - While Palestinians are still mourning and burying their dead, international public reactions to the Israeli army's massacre of Palestinian civilians are not subsiding.

Barcelona Mayor Ada Colau, through her official Twitter profile, called for an arms embargo on Israel, as the only way to prevent further bloodshed, reports Patria agency.

- An arms embargo is the most effective response to the terrible Israeli massacre of Palestinians - Colau stated.

The Mayor of Barcelona condemned the Israeli army's massacre of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.

- We demand an end to arms trade with Israel - Colau made a public appeal to Amnesty International as well.

We remind that the Israeli army killed 62 Palestinians and wounded nearly three thousand three days ago on the border with the Gaza Strip.
