Construction companies from BiH record growth in business on foreign markets

Construction companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina have completed as much as 5.8% more projects abroad this year than last year, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

According to data from the Federal Institute for Statistics, the value of contracted construction works abroad for the first nine months of 2014 is 5.8% higher compared to the same period in 2013. The value of completed construction works abroad for the first nine months of 2014 is 5.2% higher compared to the same period in 2013.

Of the total value of completed works abroad in the first nine months of 2014, the largest share relates to European countries, accounting for 60.6%. The share of high-rise buildings in total completed construction works is 26.8%, while the share of low-rise buildings is 73.2%, reports NAP.
