The Center for Civic Education Sarajevo Foundation (CPI Foundation) is organizing a Civic Graduation on Friday, June 3, in the large hall of the Old Town Sarajevo Municipality, starting at 6 PM, the Foundation announced, reports the Patria News Agency.
Civic Graduation is an educational and entertainment event intended for young people, primarily high school graduates who are expected to vote for the first time in the upcoming Local Elections.
-Our desire is to enable young people to learn how to become active, informed, and responsible citizens. Civic Graduation is intended for young people who are staying in BiH and young people who want to leave BiH, and all those who feel young enough to be initiators of social change, says Mirjana Sirćo, Grants Manager at the CPI Foundation.
-I would also like to ask the media to convey the invitation from the CPI Foundation, so that as many young people as possible attend this event, added Mirjana Sirćo.
In addition to discussions, the Civic Graduation will also feature music provided by Zlatan Hajlovac Kontra, and a team of stand-up comedians from Komedija s nogu will perform. Peđa Bajović, Filip Andronik, and Jasmin Džemiđić.
Civic Graduation is organized within the project “From Budgetary Openness and Accessibility to Participatory Governance”, funded by the Open Society Fund Bosnia and Herzegovina.
