Citizens in large numbers support action for children in Pazarić: Gift packages arrive on Saturday

Even before 5 PM, when the collection of gifts for the children of the Institute for the Care of Mentally Disabled Children and Youth in Pazarić was scheduled, whose residents wished for what they need most for the holiday, citizens began bringing necessary items in large numbers, writes the Patria news agency.

Tea Macan and Aida Feraget were at the address Zmaja od Bosne 13, Sarajevo, collecting donations for gift packages for Pazarić, and the response from citizens has been very large.

This humanitarian action was initiated by Tea Macan from Sarajevo, who works with children with special needs. She launched the collection of items for the residents of the Institute for the Care of Mentally Disabled Children and Youth in Pazarić via social networks.

Her friend volunteers at the Institute in Pazarić and brought Tea a list of small items for New Year's gift packages that the residents wished for.

It was impossible to remain unmoved, not to shed a tear upon seeing what those 70 immobile residents desire. The Institute otherwise has 320 residents of all ages.

As Aida Feraget told Patria, gift packages will be made for all residents in Pazarić, and on Saturday they will be delivered to those who wished for some small items for the New Year holidays.

- We have a similar action in Konjic and Visoko as well. Tonight, in my apartment, we will sort the gifts and make packages for all the children in Pazarić. On Saturday, together with other teams, we will deliver the gifts to Pazarić - says Feraget, who could not hold back tears due to the generosity of Sarajevans, but also all other citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
