City of Sarajevo financially supported the operation of soup kitchens

(Patria) - The City of Sarajevo has financially supported the operation of soup kitchens. Funds have already been transferred to the accounts of these institutions to help the most vulnerable in the emergency situation due to the coronavirus.

Agreements were signed with representatives of the Red Cross of Sarajevo Canton, the Humanitarian-Pastoral Organization "Caritas of the Archdiocese of Vrhbosna", the Humanitarian-Charitable Organization "Bread of St. Anthony of the Franciscan Province of Bosna Srebrena", the Humanitarian Organization "Merhamet MDD", the "Stari Grad" Soup Kitchen, and the Serbian Humanitarian Association "Dobrotvor".

Also, during the signing of the agreements, disinfectants, protective masks, and gloves were handed over to the activists and employees of the soup kitchens.
